Came here after being referenced to by a friend. Also saw all the good reviews for curly hair.

For those who don’t know, it’s a Dominican barbershop. The barber didn’t speak english nor dutch so it was very difficult to communicate.

He did have a colleague who walked in later and who spoke english and dutch. I told him what I wanted and he told the barber in Spanish. I showed 9 pictures & a vid from a barber cutting someones hair in the model I liked.

I wanted a modern curly mullet with a low fade on the sides. He gave me a low fade on the right and a high fade on the left, I had to ask him to correct it. Unfortunately creating a high fade on both sides.

Afterwards he did the same with the shave on the back of my head, the left side is not symmetrical to the right side. Once mentioned again his colleague said it looked good and that was about it. At home I see that it’s definitely not symmetrical.

He asked to style it with gel, I said sure, but I got a combed slick back water&gel styling, not at all what I asked for.

I tried to restyle it at home, but the hair on top is left too long, overlapping my hair on the back of my head.

I made a reservation prior and I got an email confirmation. But still they told me twice that I had to make a reservation next time, even though I told them that I had a reservation. The confirmation said €25, but they charged me €27,50.
